No matter what lighting is installed, there is always a risk that it can become inoperative due to acts of vandalism.

Stela’s robust design makes it no less suitable than conventional lighting solutions. However, a single projectile can destroy a conventional lamp and debris will then be scattered across the footpaths and roads causing additional hazard and safety concern.

Stela has multiple, discrete light sources and is therefore far more likely to withstand a strike and remain operational.
