INDAL SL (Spain) acquires Industria from Bencis

It is with great pleasure that the Management of WRTL can announce that Indal S.L.(Spain) has reached an agreement to acquire the Industria Group. The combined group is a top 5 European exterior lighting group with significant commercial presence throughout Europe, with an impressive development and manufacturing capability. The transaction is fully supported by the management teams of both companies

Indal S.L. is a leading exterior lighting manufacturer in southern Europe, with leading positions in Spain, Portugal and France (through 3E International). Industria is a leading Dutch manufacturer of exterior lighting with a strong presence in the United Kingdom (through WRTL), the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium (TechniLite) and a growing presence in France. See for further information http://www.industria.nl.

Industria was acquired by Bencis in 2000 as a result of a management buy out from Whitecroft Plc.

It is expected that this sale will be completed early January of 2006.
