As LED technology continues to progress, WRTL has been looking at the utilisation of this technology in the key sectors of post top lanterns for urban and park areas.The result of this work is Halo, an aesthetic post top luminaire, which uses LEDs as the primary light source.

Another LED inspired development, the Balustrade has been developed in the first instance as a way guidance luminaire for use in tunnels as an emergency lighting device.The product has a continuous lit area consisting of LEDs in a balustrade with a diameter of 50mm.
The LED strips are cast in a resin to ensure the luminaire remains dust and moisture proof.
