Developed specifically for a large urban project, the brief for this lantern was to create an atmosphere of planets floating in a universe. From this was developed the system´s ultra modern shape with the two sided, UV protected sphere and the square mast design with Z-shaped transition helps maintain the illusion of a light suspended in mid-air.

Venus also performs exceptionally well through the use of its modified Vectra optic, which allows a controlled amount of light to be emitted in the upper hemisphere.
From a light source viewpoint, Venus uses a combination of 100W and 150W SON lamps with 55W and 85W QL light sources on 4, 6 and 8 metre columns. Wall mounted versions can also be accommodated.
