The B-Scout unit is used to control and monitor a individual luminaires. Instructions are sent from a B-ScoutMaster controller, connected via the RS-485 network.
Most commonly the unit is used with fluorescent and HID lamps and gear in tunnel lighting applications. The unit will switch and dim conventional magnetic gear, and also works in conjunction with electronic gear to switch and/or dim using the 1-10V output.
The units will operate on both single and 3 phase standard and UPS supplies.
Designed primarily to operate with the i-TunneL® range of tunnel luminaires, the unit can in certain circumstances be supplied to control third party equipment.
