The i-TunneL® UPS is designed to be used exclusively with the B-ScoutMaster controller.
The UPS provides the necessary supply protection required by the B-ScoutMaster to maintain a reliable operating system in the event of both power failure and electrical surge events.
The enclosure is wired to simplify periodic testing allowing the isolation of the B-ScoutMaster and also the input supply. Neon indicators provide the user with the necessary information to easily establish where power is available, and audible signals provide power status information, such as mains failure, battery low and output overload. The internal UPS unit is easily replaced in the event of failure.

Used in conjunction with the i-TunneL® lighting control and monitoring system, the UPS is specifically designed to provide supply protection for the B-ScoutMaster controller. Manufactured in the same grade enclosure and painted to match, the UPS can be mounted below the B-ScoutMaster providing a neat, unobtrusive solution. The UPS not only provides continuous power for the connected equipment during power-fail conditions, but also provides surge protection of the normal supply, improving the longevity and reliability of the lighting control system.

Connection
The UPS is simply installed in series with the B-ScoutMaster power supply. A local isolatable supply is connected to the UPS input, whilst the output is connected to the B-ScoutMaster supply terminals.
